REQUEST A QUOTE
Before we begin, you’ll need to request a quote. To do this you must have your building plans ready. Attach them to your online application so we can review and provide an accurate price for your certification. Clear plans mean a faster, more precise quote.
CONFIRM YOUR ENGAGEMENT
Once you’re happy with the quote, it’s time to make it official. We’ll need a signed Online Engagement Agreement and full payment before we can start the certification process. This step confirms us as your appointed certifier.
ASSESSMENT IN PROGRESS
Your project is now assigned to one of our QLD building certifiers. They’ll carefully assess your plans against the building codes and regulations. This process usually takes 3–7 business days, depending on the complexity of your project.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
Sometimes we may need extra details to finalise your approval. In this stage we’ll issue a Request for Information (RFI) that outlines exactly what’s missing or required. You’ll have the opportunity to provide these documents, and we’ll guide you through what’s needed to keep things moving smoothly.
BUILDING APPROVAL ISSUED
Once everything is in place, your Decision Notice (Building Approval) will be issued. This means your project has been approved, and you can officially commence works on-site with confidence.
BOOK IN YOUR INSPECTION
Once your project is finished, you’ll need to book a final inspection with one of our certifiers. You can book your inspection directly through our website, making it quick and convenient. Our QLD building certifier will then attend your site to carry out the inspection and confirm that your build complies with the approved plans and regulations.
FINAL CERTIFICATES ISSUED
When your project is complete and compliant we’ll issue the final certificates of the building approval. This important document confirms your project has been carried out correctly and is legally certified.
